Terms of Service and Cancellation Policies

Circle 8 Outfitters

The services provided by Circle 8 Outfitters are subject to the individual service agreements for each backcountry excursion.  These included but are not limited to summer horse packing trips, backcountry fishing trips, and fall hunting trips. 

Summer Excursions:

• All summer excursions (trips) must be confirmed with a deposit in advance of departure, which is 35% of the total service cost of the trip.  Requested reservations without an accompanying deposit are considered unconfirmed and subject to replacement by other reservations.  
• An additional 30% of the trip total is due by June 1 of the trip year.  The final 35% is due upon arrival.
• All deposits and payments on any given trip are non-refundable.  Circle 8 Outfitters reserves the option to apply deposits and payments towards payment for a future trip, at it’s sole discretion.

Hunting Excursions:

• All fall hunting excursions (trips) must be confirmed with a deposit in advance of departure, which is 35% of the total service cost of the trip.  Requested reservations without an accompanying deposit are considered unconfirmed and subject to replacement by other reservations.  
• For all fall hunting trips an additional 35% of the total is due when the license applicant (hunter) is notified that they have received a license (generally early May).  The final 30% is due on arrival.
• Circle 8 Outfitters manages all license applications for our guided and unguided hunters, unless the hunter is a Montana resident for hunting license purposes.
• Circle 8 Outfitters requires all hunters to procure the maximum amount of preference points available to that individual (capped at 3) for the year of the hunting trip.
• In the event a hunter is unsuccessful in the state license drawing, the hunter will have the option to have their deposit refunded or to apply the deposit in full to a future hunt.
• In all other cases, deposits and payments are non-refundable.  Circle 8 Outfitters reserves the option to apply deposits and payments towards payment for a future trip, at it’s sole discretion.
